Coaching
I coach people through this.
Hip replacement coaching, from someone who has one. Whether your surgery is scheduled or ten years behind you, the goal is the same: get everything out of the new hip, and don't pay for it later.

Who this is for
People who have a hip replacement — or are about to — and intend to stay active on it. Not gently active. Actually active: the sport, the lifting, the mountain, the thing the pamphlet told you to give up.
You've read the restrictions. You've been handed the list of what you'll never do again. And somewhere in you is the suspicion that the list was written for the average patient, and that you don't have to be the average patient.
You're right. But wanting it isn't the same as knowing how to do it without wrecking the joint, and that gap is the whole reason this exists. I want you doing it the right way, because the wrong way costs you the hip.
How it works
One-to-one, every week
A video call each week — where you are, what's working, what isn't, and what happens next. Just the two of us.
Between the calls
Message me when something comes up. The hard days don't wait for a scheduled call, and neither should you.
A plan built around you
Your surgery, your timeline, your sport, your goal. Not a template — I've only ever done this one person at a time.
What I am, and what I'm not
I'm not a doctor, a surgeon, or a physical therapist, and nothing I do replaces any of them. I'm someone who had a total hip replacement at 19 and pitched seven years of professional baseball on it. I work alongside your medical team, never around them — and if you don't have one yet, that's where you start, not with me.
Apply to work with me
I take a small number of people at a time, so tell me where you are and what you're after. I read every one of these myself and I'll get back to you.
