By using isaachess.com you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. The site is run by Isaac Hess (“I”).

What the site is

A personal site with my story, writing, and ways to work with me: coaching, consulting, and speaking. Content is shared for general information and is my own experience and opinion. It is not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice for your situation.

Coaching and training

Baseball training and recovery involve physical risk. Nothing here replaces your doctor or physical therapist. Check with a medical professional before changing how you train, especially after an injury or surgery. You are responsible for how you apply anything you read or hear from me.

Booking a paid call

Paid consulting calls are booked and paid through Cal.com, which uses Stripe to process payment. The call is paid for when it is booked. Payments are handled by Cal.com and Stripe, not by this site. If you have a question or a problem with a booking or a charge, email isaac@cagelist.com and I will respond. A call is a conversation; I do not guarantee any particular business, athletic, or financial result.

Forms and the newsletter

Submitting an application or inquiry does not create a coaching, consulting, or speaking agreement. I may or may not take it on. How I handle what you send is described in the Privacy Policy.

Content and links

The writing, photos, and design are mine or used with permission. You may quote short excerpts with credit and a link, but please do not copy whole pages. Some links are affiliate links, which is disclosed on the site. I am not responsible for other websites.

No warranty, limited liability

The site and its content are provided as is, with no promise that it is always available or error free. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and my total liability for anything related to a paid call is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Florida.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.
